First Words

I've decided that blogging might be an appropriate channel for the constant babble of words trapped in my head, so here goes! First of all, I'm not what you'd expect from a 17 year old girl. First of all, I'm a frosh at the wonderful UTC, and making straight A's! Aside from my incredibly large brain, however, I'm a pretty sweet person, if you can get past first impressions. (I always seem to botch those, either by accidentally injuring my acquaintee or making an absolute fool of myself). Once you get to know me, I'm not that bad, though. The one guy get past first impressions and get to know me, I married, and it was one of the best (if somewhat spur-of-the-moment and unorthodox) days of my life. More on that later. More on everything later, I guess.

PS:If you have any tips on blogging, feel free to share! Gosh, I know I need luck!

  2. Hey Dess! I'm really glad you joined - I assumed you'd like this. It really can be fun.
    Okay, tips..
    »Follow people. (including me, silly)
»Explore other people's blogs (you can use the buttons on my sidebar to do that)
»uhmm.. I don't know at the moment.. it's so much easier to show than to tell.
    But we'll work on it.

  3. Hi! Welcome! Congrats on blogging, marrying, big brain, et al! I agree with Jerricapuck, following and exploring are both good. And I have started and fallen off the blog numerous times over the years, and this time I have given myself a goal of posting at least twice a week so I have to keep things current. Other people seem to be good at getting viewers to comment, and Twitter, and other widget-y things, which I don't know much about yet. So we'll learn together, no?
